Get ready, Kirkland! The beloved 7 Hills of Kirkland Memorial Day bike ride is rolling back into town, and Merit Homes is thrilled to announce our renewed support for this fantastic community event. Dust off your bikes, gather your friends, and prepare for a fun time (and maybe start training)!
For over two decades, this cherished fundraiser has brought together cyclists of all levels, drawing approximately 1,000 riders annually, prior to the pandemic. As they’ve been rebuilding their participants and getting the word out about this event, they have successfully drawn hundreds of participants in recent years. This year, the Kiwanis Club of Kirkland are once again orchestrating this iconic road bike ride, continuing their tradition of supporting local causes.

Merit Homes is proud to partner with the Kiwanis Club of Kirkland. Our commitment to this event runs deep, with our President and Owner, Josh, having participated multiple times, even back when Attain Housing was spearheading this event. We've been honored to be one of the ride sponsors multiple times in most recent years, and we value our relationship with the Kiwanis Club of Kirkland and their dedication to our beautiful Kirkland community.
The Kiwanis Club is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Our local Kirkland Kiwanis chapter is particularly active in the Eastside, organizing and supporting numerous philanthropic events that benefit youth and local community members. Their efforts extend beyond the 7 Hills bike ride, including scholarships, youth programs, and various community service initiatives. This Memorial Day bike ride is one of their main fundraisers that helps them support all of these amazing programs.
